More than 860 Habersham EMC members registered for this year’s annual meeting and were entered into the local cooperative’s virtual door prize drawing.
HEMC Interim CEO Whit Hollowell and HEMC Human Resources Manager Gail Welborn conducted the live drawing on Facebook Friday, July 17.
It was the second part of a two-day virtual annual meeting event. The first part included the business session and was streamed live on HEMC’s Facebook page and on nowgeorgia.com. Both events were held online due to public health concerns and state health guidelines regarding COVID-19.
