The runway at the Habersham County Airport will temporarily close next week for additional upgrades.
Habersham County Public Information Officer Rob Moore says crews will apply permanent markings to the newly resurfaced runway. The temporary closure will be in effect from 7 a.m. Monday, June 17, to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 18.
Crews repaved the runway earlier this year. That project effectively closed the airport for three weeks in April and May. The runway reopened on May 22.
