A Mattie’s Call has been issued for Tae Yang, a missing 67-year-old Buford man who authorities say is considered in danger because of mental health issues.
Yang was last seen Sunday, Oct. 25, walking in the 5600 block of Bristol Industrial Parkway off Friendship Road in Hall County. His direction of travel was unknown, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said.
A Mattie’s Call is a statewide emergency missing person alert for elderly people or those with disabilities.
Yang is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs approximately 175 pounds, and has gray hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket, and brown shoes and carrying a black backpack.
Authorities are asking the public for help as the search continues. Anyone who sees Yang should use caution and call 911 immediately.
