
Two former Reynolds police officers are facing charges in connection to a domestic incident there according to a statement from the Reynolds Police Department. The incident occurred on August 22, 2026, involving the two former officers.
During the course of an investigation, it was determined that an alleged criminal offense had occurred involving former Officer Landon E. Aldridge and his significant other. The investigation also determined that former Officer Christopher K. Boyt neglected a duty related to the investigation of a call for service.
As a result of the investigation, Landon E. Aldridge is charged with hindering a 911 call. Officer Aldridge had previously resigned from the Reynolds Police Department prior to the August 22 incident. Christopher K. Boyt was charged with violation of oath of office. Officer Boyt resigned from the Reynolds Police Department while under investigation and is no longer employed by the department.
