Fire Danger will remain high across North Georgia on Sunday.
Relative humidity values will be a bit higher than we saw on Saturday as moisture does slowly start to move in from the south. However, from I-20 north we expect to see humidity values drop into the 20-25% range by early afternoon. Winds will again be breezy at 10-15 m.p.h., particularly during the afternoon.
The highest fire danger will occur from 11 a.m. through 8 p.m. with the best combination of winds and low humidity.
Burning is strongly discouraged again today. There is moisture on the way later in the week that will allow for better times to do any needed burning.
