Driver killed in Hall County wreck identified

fatal accident

Authorities have identified the driver killed in a single-vehicle wreck Friday in northwest Hall County as Allyson Marie Burdeshaw of Gainesville.

Hall County deputies were called to the crash scene on Old Lyncliff Drive around 6:20 p.m. on January 20. They found a Nissan Altima in a creek bed alongside the roadway. The 46-year Burdeshaw was dead at the scene.

HCSO traffic investigators determined Burdeshaw was traveling southbound on Old Lyncliff Drive when she ran off the road in a curve. She lost control of her vehicle, traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.

Officials say no one else was in the vehicle.

This is the first fatal wreck in Hall County this year.
