Drivers in Toccoa can expect a detour starting Tuesday morning as crews begin repaving part of East Tugalo Street.
Georgia DOT District One spokesperson Katie Strickland says crews will mill up old asphalt and repave the road between Broad and North Alexander Streets. That section of East Tugalo/Ga. 17 Alt/Ga. 184 will be closed while work’s underway.
Strickland says the work should be done by Thursday, weather permitting.
