CLEVELAND, Ga. — Cleveland has lifted the boil water advisory issued after an Oct. 17 water main break.

Water quality testing confirmed the water is safe for consumption, according to City Manager Kevin Harris. Customers in the affected areas may now resume normal water use.

The advisory followed a 6-inch water main break at the intersection of Campbell and West Kytle streets. It affected JP Nix Primary School and customers along portions of West Kytle, Campbell and West Underwood streets, Jess Hunt Road and several surrounding residential streets.
