Sunshine will continue to dominate for the foreseeable future as we move into a stagnant, dry, but nice weather pattern.
High pressure overhead will keep us sunny and mild this week with highs returning to the 70s across all but the higher elevations of the mountains. The dry air means big swings in temperature each day with lows still falling into the 40s each night. We won't see any more frost threats this week.
What we will see is increased fire danger for the majority, if not all, of the week. Dewpoints will remain very low with humidity falling into the 20-30% range each afternoon. Light winds will keep fire danger from getting out of hand, but increased danger is expected each afternoon. If you choose to burn any falling leaves or other items outdoors, please be extra careful.
