The Lady Indians notched a second straight shutout with a 15-0 defeat of West Hall on Wednesday at home. Suzanna Cabe threw a 3-inning perfect game, allowing no hits or walks while earning the win and striking out eight.
The offense gave Cabe plenty of support, as she herself hit a 2-run single in the first, followed by Juliana Roberts’ RBI single. Lucy McDougal also had a run-scoring hit to cap a 4-run inning.
TFS scored 11 in the second to put the game far out of reach, and Cabe highlighted the frame with an inside-the-park 2-run homerun.
Cabe had five RBI and three runs with two hits. Roberts had two hits and three RBI, scoring twice as well. Joanna Miller had two hits, three runs, and an RBI.
McDougal, Ellie Shaw, Ruby Sue Anderson, and Juliana Edelheit each recorded hits as well.
What’s Next? TFS is now 7-13, and host East Jackson in the season finale on Thursday.
