The City of Baldwin has canceled its November 3 work session and council meeting because not enough council members would be present to conduct business.

City officials said the council will choose a new date to reschedule the meeting.

Baldwin’s Chief Administrative Officer Emily Woodmaster told Now Habersham this afternoon that in her seven years with the city, she doesn’t recall cancelling a meeting due to a lack of quorum.

The cancellation means the next regular meeting is now set for December 9, when council members will hold both their work session and regular session.

The December 9 meeting will be held at the Baldwin Municipal Courtroom, 155 Willingham Avenue in Baldwin.
