ATHENS, Ga. — Athens-Clarke County police put a humorous spin on a messy traffic situation after a septic tank truck overturned on Commerce Road.
“If you were on Commerce Road Monday, you may have noticed traffic was a little … backed up,” the department wrote. “A septic tank truck overturned, causing quite the stink, but thankfully, no one was injured.”
Police said the spill has since been cleaned up and Commerce Road is “flowing normally again.”
