
BANKS COUNTY, Ga. — Three suspects have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery reported at a Banks County store, authorities said.
Deputies with the Banks County Sheriff’s Office responded to Homertown Grocery on June 10 after receiving a report of an armed robbery. When deputies arrived, they determined the suspects had fled the scene before law enforcement could respond.
Investigators quickly launched an investigation to identify those responsible. According to the sheriff’s office, the suspects were identified as 53-year-old Quinton Burden, 36-year-old Nazzaar Parker, and 41-year-old Patrick Drayton.
On June 11, all three men were apprehended in Hall County following a coordinated effort involving multiple law enforcement agencies.
The Banks County Sheriff’s Office credited the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force for assisting in locating and apprehending the suspects.
Authorities have not released additional details about the robbery or any charges filed against the suspects. The investigation remains ongoing.
