This morning, Phenix City Schools received an anonymous threat. The district
immediately implemented precautionary safety measures to protect students and staff.
Phenix City Elementary and Phenix City Intermediate entered lockdown procedures while school officials collaborated closely with the Phenix City Police Department to ensure campus safety.

Both schools have since been cleared and are now out of lockdown, with safety measures still in place. The safety and security of our students and staff remain our highest priority. While situations like this can be alarming, we are committed to taking every report seriously and responding swiftly and appropriately.

We are incredibly grateful for the professionalism and cooperation displayed by our staff, the Phenix City Police Department, and our students throughout this situation.
