Annual Daylily Festival coming up tomorrow

One of June’s favorite perennials will take center stage at the Columbus Botanical Garden, Saturday, May 30.  The annual Daylily Festival returns for a full day of celebrating the wonder of daylilies.

The daylily show begins at 1:30 pm. The festival also features a daylily class. You can shop for local garden plants and arts and crafts vendors will be on hand. Lawn games will also be out for kids to enjoy.

The event presented by The Chattahoochee Valley Daylily Society, Columbus Botanical Garden & UGA Extension Service attracts visitors from across the Chattahoochee Valley with a show of blooms for what’s to come in the following weeks.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for CBG members, and no charge for children. Guests will receive a FREE daylily during admission while supplies last!

Columbus Botanical Garden is located at 3603 Weems Rd, in Columbus. Guests are asked to park at Blanchard Elementary School or Weems Road Church and enter through the bottom gate near the Adams Farmhouse.

No dogs are allowed at the festival.
