
CLEVELAND, Ga. — Authorities have identified the woman killed Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash at a busy White County intersection.
According to the Georgia State Patrol crash report, Jane Ann Aspey of Cleveland died in the Aug. 28 collision at Stovall Road and Duncan Bridge Road (GA 384). The other driver was identified as Michael Cameron Limbaugh of Clarkesville.
The crash occurred shortly before 9:45 a.m.
Investigators said Aspey was driving a 2018 Ford Mustang west on Stovall Road and stopped at the stop sign before entering the intersection. According to GSP, she failed to yield to Limbaugh, who was driving a Dodge Ram 3500 south on Duncan Bridge Road.
The front of the pickup struck the passenger side of the Mustang. Aspey suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Limbaugh was injured and transported by White County EMS to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville for treatment.
