TOCCOA, Ga. — A man was arrested Saturday after Toccoa police found suspected cocaine while investigating a reported disturbance.
Officers responded July 18 to a disturbance behind the former Save-A-Lot building, according to the Toccoa Police Department.
When they arrived, officers found a man near the tree line and spoke with him as part of their investigation. During the encounter, officers found a substance they believed to be bath salts. A field test later indicated the substance was cocaine, police said.
The man, identified as Daniel Beaupre, was arrested and taken to the Stephens County Jail without incident.
