CLEVELAND, Ga. — Shoppers can get a jump on the holiday season while supporting families experiencing homelessness at the Christmas in July Bazaar on Saturday, July 25.

Hosted by Family Promise of White & Habersham, the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the White County Parks & Recreation Center, 327 Asbestos Road in Cleveland.

The free event will feature local vendors offering handmade gifts, holiday décor, crafts and other unique items. Organizers say proceeds and community support will help Family Promise continue its mission of assisting families experiencing homelessness and helping them achieve long-term independence through housing, employment and other support services.

Santa Claus will make a special appearance from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., giving children and families an opportunity to take photos and enjoy an early dose of holiday cheer.

Family Promise of White & Habersham serves families with children in White and Habersham counties by providing shelter, case management and resources designed to help them secure stable housing and become self-sufficient. The nonprofit also works with community partners and volunteers to address family homelessness across the two counties.

Admission to the Christmas in July Bazaar is free.
