Chester’s Barbeque is coming soon to the Landings off Airport Thruway in Columbus. The popular barbeque eatery will open in the same location as Cook’s Place. Roy Cook announced the closure of Cook’s Place and revealed the new owner on social media this week.
Cook posted that Chester’s Barbeque will open August 1st in that location. Cook’s hotdogs will remain open at their other location on Moon Road at the corner of Miller Road just past the airport. “Please patronize his business. He has great BBQ,” Cook wrote.
Chester’s BBQ is a hometown favorite already operating in two locations including Veteran’s Parkway and NorthStar Drive in Columbus. They are also a fan favorite serving inside the Columbus Civic Center during sporting events.
