
ATHENS, Ga. — Police are investigating multiple reports of a possible Peeping Tom after residents reported a suspicious person looking into occupied homes in an Athens neighborhood. In one incident, the suspect was reportedly found inside a residence.
According to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, the incidents have been reported in the area of College Station Road and Riverbend Parkway.
Investigators say the suspect has been seen looking through the windows of occupied homes. On one occasion, the individual allegedly entered a residence before leaving the scene.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and detectives are actively following leads to identify and apprehend the suspect.
Authorities are urging residents in the area to remain vigilant by locking doors and windows, using exterior lighting when possible, and immediately reporting suspicious activity to 911.
