(Georgia Recorder) — A Fulton County judge has voided an earlier order that briefly sided with a group of Republican officials who were pushing for access to the secretary of state’s election night hub during Tuesday’s state primary election.

Judge Ural Glanville has tossed aside the temporary restraining order he granted earlier Tuesday.

State Sen. Greg Dolezal, who is running for lieutenant governor, congressional candidate Chris Mora and Cobb County Commissioner Keli Gambrill filed an emergency motion against Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on the eve of Tuesday’s election.

Raffensperger, who is also a Republican candidate for governor, had denied them access since there is no actual ballot-counting done at the state emergency operations center on election night. Ballots are processed and tallied at the local level. An opinion from the attorney general’s office supported Raffensperger’s position.

An attorney for the secretary of state’s office said Tuesday afternoon that they were exploring their legal options in response to the original order.

“The secretary was not provided notice of any hearing this morning and was not given an opportunity to be heard in this matter,” said General Counsel Charlene McGowan. “Had we been able to be heard before the court, we would have explained that the plaintiffs have misrepresented what the facts are, have misrepresented what the legal requirements are.”
