A local man was killed after a bicycle wreck in Phenix City according to Russell County Coroner Arthur Sumbry. The victim, in his 60’s has not been identified yet as the coroner said next of kin has not been notified.
The bicycle rider collided with a Chevrolet 2500 truck around 6 am Monday morning. The incident happened on Sandfort and Dawson Road in Phenix City. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene from blunt force trauma injuries.
