Columbus Fire and EMS is proud to announce the grand opening of its brand-new Station 5, located at 6600 Lynch Road, Midland, GA 31820, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30 PM.
This new station was made possible through the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST)Â and represents a critical investment in public safety for the citizens of Columbus. Thanks to the support and vision of the Mayor, City Manager, City Council Members, and the community, Station 5 will enhance emergency response capabilities and provide essential services to the Midland area.
Columbus Fire and EMS invites the public, local officials, and community partners to join us in celebrating this milestone. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the station, meet the personnel, and see firsthand the equipment and resources that will help keep our community safe.
