HALL COUNTY, Ga. — Firefighters with Hall County Fire Rescue responded late Friday night to a fire involving two semi-trucks along Browns Bridge Road.
According to Bobby Ogletree, division chief of the EMS Division for Hall County Fire Rescue, crews were dispatched on the eve of March 14 to the 3600 block of Browns Bridge Road for reports of a nonspecific fire.
When firefighters arrived, they located two semi-trucks fully involved in flames on the property. Crews gained access to the site and deployed hand lines to attack the fire.
Ogletree said the nearest water source was located across Browns Bridge Road, requiring firefighters to stretch supply hose across the roadway. One fire apparatus blocked the road to protect the hose line supplying water to crews battling the blaze.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies were requested to assist with traffic control while firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.
No injuries were reported. Firefighters brought the blaze under control, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation, Ogletree said.
