
7th-ranked Tallulah Falls extended its win streak to eight with a huge 13-1 win over #1-ranked Gatewood at home on Tuesday, April 29.
Cole Bonitatibus threw a complete game, allowing one unearned run while striking out nine against three hits and four walks. He was backed with a 3-run first inning and five runs in both the third and fourth.
BJ Carver had an RBI single in the first. After Gatewood retaliated with a run in the third, the TFS bats woke up. Robert Grant doubled in a pair, and Diego Gonzalez singled in another to help give Tallulah the 8-1 advantage.
In the 5-run fourth, Grant singled in another and Justin Smith followed with a 2-run single. Gonzalez grounded out, but brought in a run to cap the scoring. Carver had three hits, while Grant and Chase Pollock each had two.
The Indians are now 19-8 on the season.
