Friends and family of Carlos Morales gathered at his grave at Level Grove Cemetery in Cornelia on Valentine’s Day. They released dozens of white and silver balloons into the sky in his memory.
Morales, who would have turned 18 on Feb. 12, was a student at Habersham Central High School. He was killed in a car crash on Camp Creek Road in Cornelia while on his way to school on Nov. 20, 2019.
