
HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a weekend crash involving a wrong-way driver on GA 365 South.
It happened around 1:12 a.m. on May 16 near Rock Road at the Habersham-Stephens County line.
Investigating troopers said a Toyota Tacoma was traveling north in the southbound left lane when it approached a disabled Dodge Durango partially blocking the roadway. The Durango had become mechanically disabled, and its passenger and another person were trying to push it off the road when the crash occurred, according to the preliminary crash report.
The Tacoma struck the passenger side of the Durango, troopers said.


Habersham County emergency personnel and sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene.
No information about injuries or possible charges was immediately available.
