White Chamber’s Truelove earns top industry certification

CLEVELAND, Ga. — White County Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Beth Truelove has earned the Certified Chamber Executive designation, the highest professional certification available in the chamber of commerce industry.

The designation is awarded by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives and recognizes excellence in chamber leadership and management. Truelove was honored during the ACCE Annual Convention in New Orleans as one of 19 chamber professionals nationwide to receive the credential this year.

The Certified Chamber Executive designation is the only globally recognized certification program created exclusively for chamber professionals. First awarded more than 40 years ago, the credential evaluates expertise in chamber management, strategic planning, membership, communications, revenue generation and operations. Candidates must complete a rigorous application process that includes written essays, a comprehensive examination, and an oral presentation and interview.

“Certified Chamber Executives represent the highest level of professional achievement in our industry,” said Justin McLaughlin, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Tulsa Regional Chamber and chair of the CCE Commission. “This year’s recipients have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to leadership, innovation and excellence, setting an example for chamber professionals across the country.”

White County Chamber Immediate Past Board Chair Jessica Barton praised Truelove’s accomplishment.

“Beth’s dedication to professional growth and to serving White County with excellence is evident in everything she does,” Barton said. “Earning the CCE designation reflects not only her personal commitment to the chamber profession but also her passion for ensuring our chamber continues to deliver exceptional value to our businesses, community, and region.”

According to the chamber, Truelove has led initiatives supporting local businesses, workforce development, economic growth and quality-of-life improvements throughout White County since joining the organization. Officials said the certification reflects both her leadership and the chamber’s commitment to continuous improvement.

The Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives serves chamber leaders and related business organizations around the world. Fewer than 500 chamber professionals have earned the Certified Chamber Executive designation, making it the profession’s highest credential.
