Despite a key player going down to injury, Tallulah Falls dominated in a tri-match at Lakeview on Tuesday evening, winning both matches to stretch the current win streak to five.

The Lady Indians (9-8) beat Lakeview for a key region win, 25-13, 25-16. The girls then proceeded to beat Clarke Central 25-17, 25-10.

“We lost Stella Bowman, but Azul Felder Terrados did a great job filling in with great effort and energy,” says coach Matt Heyl.

Corinne Swinton and Beatriz Araujo were great offensively, and Shelby Whisnant and Emma Whisnant went on numerous long-serving runs.

Tori Crotta and Finlee Ridlehoover ran a great offense with precision sets.

“We played solid with only brief moments of letting off the gas,” adds Heyl.

What’s Next? The Lady Indians, who have played 10 matches in nine days, play host to Loganville Christian on Thursday, August 27.
