The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office would like to announce the capture of escaped inmates, Rickey Martin and Kentravious Holmes. Both were located at a residence on 1st Montgomery Street in Americus, GA.
Sheriff Eric D. Bryant would like to thank the Georgia Bureau of Investigations-Region 3, GBI, Georgia State Patrol, Federal Marshals, Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force-Albany, Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, Americus Police Department and Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Deputies for their assistance in capturing these fugitives.
Both Holmes and Martin were taken into custody without incident. A third subject was also detained on the scene. Sheriff Eric D. Bryant would also like to thank the citizens of Sumter County and Southwest Georgia for their cooperation and patience in allowing the members of Law Enforcement to do their job.
