DEMOREST, Ga. — A section of Camp Creek Road was shut down for nearly an hour following a rollover crash Thursday evening.
According to the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, Camp Creek Road was temporarily closed between Chase Road and the Demorest–Mt. Airy Highway while emergency crews responded to the scene. Drivers were advised to use alternate routes.
Authorities have not released an official crash report. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the incident.
One person was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville with critical injuries.
