Louise Crocker Whitlock Terrell

Louise Crocker Whitlock Terrell, age 74, of Alto, Georgia, peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Born in Homer, Georgia on January 30, 1952, she was the beloved daughter of the late Coy Lee Crocker and Edith Dodd Crocker. Louise dedicated many years of her life to serving others through her self-employed housekeeping business before her retirement. She was a faithful member of Yonah Congregational Holiness Church, where her love for the Lord was evident in the way she lived her life. Louise was a kind and hardworking woman who found her greatest joy in her family. Affectionately known as “Nanny” to her grandchildren, she treasured every moment spent with them and delighted in watching her family grow. Her unconditional love, gentle spirit, and steadfast faith leave behind a legacy that will continue to bless those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her precious infant daughter, Jennifer Whitlock; grandson, Jordan Thomas; and brothers, Gene Crocker and Charles Kenneth Crocker.

She is lovingly survived by her children and their spouses, Jason & Tonya Whitlock, Patty Whitlock Thomas, and Stan Whitlock; grandchildren, Johnathan & Cayla Thomas, Amber Whitlock, Bailey & Cashen Whitlock, and Jayden & Jacob Standridge; great-grandchildren, Annistyn Thomas, J.B. Thomas, and Macoy Whitlock, with two additional great-grandchildren joyfully expected; sister, Jeanell Crocker Stewart; brother, Carson Crocker; sister and brother-in-law, Geneva & Chester Shirley; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many treasured friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2026, from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home with Rev. John Umberhant officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery, where Rev. Leon Brown will officiate at the graveside service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour on Monday.
