A crew from McAllister’s Tree Service surveys the damage and prepares to remove a tree that blew down on the Hazel Grove Elementary School playground yesterday. High winds and cold temperatures returned to Habersham with a vengeance on Thursday. Habersham County Emergency Management Agency Director Lynn Smith says the agency is preparing for more winter weather that’s expected to blow into the county next week.
