
On March 29, 2026, at approximately 8:15PM, Officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded to 121 Turner Street in reference to a person who had been injured in a fight. Officers arrived on scene and located 67-year-old L.B. Hubbard, who had sustained serious injuries to his head and face.
Hubbard was airlifted to a Columbus area hospital for treatment and was unable to provide a statement. The Criminal Investigations Division was requested and responded to the scene to conduct their investigation into the assault. Witnesses reported a black male was seen attacking Hubbard and was punching and stomping on his head while Hubbard was lying limp on the ground.
The black male was described as being in his late 30’s to early 40’s, was wearing a white shirt, grey sweatpants, and had dreads. He was last seen walking to the area of 150 Turner Street.
