Jennette Lois DeMore, age 98 of Turnerville passed away January 21, 2026 following an extended illness.
Lois was the daughter of Harley and Amy McCall. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Fred DeMore.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Moore of Turnerville, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard DeMore of Piedmont, SC, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She will be laid to rest in a graveside service with Dr. Kenneth Franklin officiating at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Turnerville on Thursday, January 29th at 11:30.
Pallbearers will be Randy Worley, Rodney Worley, Scott Burrell, Scott DeMore, Calter Moore and Luke Canup.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to Lois’ devoted and loving caregivers and volunteers at New Horizons at Habersham, and the Hospice team whose love, grace, gentleness and compassionate care brought comfort and dignity to her final journey.
