We know everyone is on pins and needles about the threat of severe weather across the Chattahoochee Valley. It’s time to prepare for the worst and hope for the best as Hurricane Isaias threatens our neighbors and friends.
Which brings to mind the storm that blew through September 20 with 60+ mph winds, 17,000 homes without power, and more than 80 trees downed. How are you getting ready for potential flooding, power outages, and more toppled trees?
Check out some of the latest nominations for Best Of and add your favorites. It might be helpful in the next couple of days to know where to go for restoration and cleanup following water damage. Who are you calling for tree or debris removal? Need a generator? What business is your go-to? No food in the house? There is an endless list of options from Uber Eats or DoorDash for delivery.
Nominations continue to come in daily, and we have extended the deadline until October 25 to hear from you.
Nominate your favorites before Oct. 25, then vote for your favorites from Oct. 26 through Nov. 23. We’ll announce the winners at noon on Nov. 25, just in time for Black Friday. We’re eager to hear what you think and who you think is the very best the valley has to offer.
