The City of Baldwin Water Department has lifted its boil water advisory. The advisory was issued early Wednesday morning after a major water main break in the 1400 block of Willingham Avenue.
The leak caused water outages and service disruptions for hundreds of customers.
“Bacteriological samplings collected from several sites in the area tested negative for the presence of harmful bacteria,” says Baldwin Public Works Director Scott Barnhart.
Those who were affected may now resume normal water use.
