Bowman Lee Blackburn

Bowman Lee Blackburn entered this world at 11:02 a.m. on September 16, 2026, and at 5:54 p.m. that same day, he peacefully went home to be with Jesus. Though we were given only 6 hours and 52 precious minutes with our sweet boy, Bowman filled a lifetime of love into those few short hours.

He was deeply loved before we ever held him, and even more deeply cherished in every moment we were blessed to have him in our arms. Bowman was precious, beautiful, and so incredibly loved. His life may have been brief, but his purpose was not. He touched more hearts in his short time here than we could ever put into words.

We will carry our sweet boy with us for the rest of our lives until the day we are reunited with him in Heaven. Our hearts ache because we miss him, but we find comfort in knowing that Bowman is completely healed, safe in the arms of Jesus, and will never know pain again.

Six hours and fifty-two minutes on Earth. Forever our son. Forever loved. Forever with the Lord.

Survivors include his parents, Benjamin and Karlie Blackburn, of Demorest; his sisters; his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, with Rev. Jeryle Roach officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens.
