
HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. — A woman was hospitalized late Saturday night following a shooting at a home outside Cornelia, according to authorities.
The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office responded following a 911 call requesting an ambulance just after 11:45 p.m. on March 28.
“We responded to a residence on Pea Ridge Road in reference to a dispute call which involved a possible self-inflicted gunshot wound,” said Habersham County Sheriff Robin Krockum.
The woman was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville for treatment. Her condition has not been released.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
