
HART COUNTY, Ga. — A Hartwell man was killed Sunday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Reed Creek Highway, authorities said.
The collision happened around 1:22 p.m. on March 22 at the intersection of Reed Creek Highway and Boat Road north of Hartwell. Deputies with the Hart County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene along with Hart County EMS and fire personnel.
According to a preliminary investigation, the motorcycle was traveling on Reed Creek Highway toward Hartwell when it struck two other vehicles. The motorcycle came to rest on the left shoulder of the roadway.
The rider, identified as 31-year-old Ryan McKenzie Craft of Hartwell, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Georgia State Patrol is assisting with the investigation. The Hart County Coroner’s Office also responded.
Authorities have not released additional details as the investigation continues.
