Boil Water Advisory issued for parts of Clarkesville

CLARKESVILLE, Ga. — A boil water advisory has been issued for part of the City of Clarkesville, affecting Bartley Wilbanks Road between Woodland Drive and Minus Drive.

City officials advise residents in the affected area to bring all water to a rolling boil for at least two minutes before consuming it. The water should then be allowed to cool before use. The advisory applies to drinking, cooking, brushing teeth and preparing food.

No additional details about the cause of the advisory were immediately released.
