Missing Columbus teen may have been in Toccoa

The search for a missing Columbus teenager has extended into Northeast Georgia. 17-year-old Ashley Butler went missing a week ago. The Toccoa Police Department says, “This young lady was reportedly in our city recently,” and is urging anyone with information to come forward.

According to the Columbus Police Department, Butler was last seen around 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 1, in the 2700 block of 1st Avenue in Columbus. She is described as 5’3” and approximately 155 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
