
CLEVELAND, Ga. — The City of Cleveland has lifted the boil water advisory for the Thunder Ridge area after follow-up testing confirmed the water system is safe for normal use.
City officials said laboratory results met all safety standards, allowing residents to resume using tap water for drinking, cooking, and food preparation.
The advisory affected customers in the 429–600 block of Thunder Ridge Drive, as well as,
Vista Drive, Mountain View Drive, Oak Pointe Drive, College View Drive, Tree Top Drive, Laurel Pointe, Leadpole Mountain Lane,
Before returning to regular use, residents are encouraged to flush household plumbing by:
- Running cold water faucets for five minutes
- Flushing ice makers
- Discarding old ice
- Allowing new ice to form
- Running dishwashers and washing machines on a normal cycle
City officials thanked residents for their “patience and cooperation” while crews worked to restore service and ensure water quality.
