
The ground and streets are wet from a day of rain. The temperature will fall overnight into the mid to upper 20s. Winds will make it feel much colder, but the good news is that those winds, expected to be 10 to 15 mph with gusts possibly as high as 20 mph, will help dry off most streets.
It is always a challenge to forecast winter weather impacts in the Chattahoochee Valley, but for schools and businesses, it’s always best to err on the side of caution.
The following includes the list of delays and closings for our area:
Chattahoochee Valley area schools/businesses DELAYED by two hours:
- Muscogee County Schools
- St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School
- St. Francis-Emory Medical Group
- Primary care locations for Piedmont Hospital in Columbus and Phenix City, with the exception of the Warm Springs Road location, will delay opening until Noon.
