Diane Griffin-Sudderth

Diane Griffin-Sudderth, age 70, of Alto, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

Diane was born on December 8, 1955, in Sumter, South Carolina, to the late Gerald and Anna McCoy. Known to many as a true worker bee, Diane believed in staying busy and finding purpose in her days. Diane retired after years of faithful service with Ethicon, Schreiber Foods, and Magnolia Windows and Doors. Even after retirement, her strong work ethic never faded. She continued working at The Oaks of Scenic View Nursing Home, where she was employed in housekeeping. There, she took pride in her work and the care she showed through the tasks she performed each day. Outside of work, Diane found happiness in tending to her garden. She loved working in the soil, nurturing her plants, and admiring the beauty of her flowers. Gardening was both her peace and her joy. She also delighted in trips to Hobby Lobby, where she enjoyed browsing, finding inspiration, and savoring the simple pleasure of time well spent.

Survivors include her daughter, Janice Griffin, of Buford; step-son, Brian Sudderth, of Homer; granddaughter, Sophia Quesenberry; and brother, Gerald “Jerry” McCoy, of Augusta.
