One of the University of Georgia’s largest student-run organizations raised over a million dollars for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

On March 28, the university organization UGA Miracle held their 31st annual Dance Marathon. During the 13.5-hour event, more than 2,000 students, faculty, staff, and community members participated in the dancing fundraiser. Those who attended the event enjoyed silent discos, live music, and group games.

Over $1.4 million was raised by the end of the night. All proceeds will go to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

UGA Miracle is a completely student-run philanthropic organization. They fundraise throughout the year, however, the annual Dance Marathon is their largest event.
