
CLEVELAND — The White County Board of Commissioners will hold its first public hearing on the fiscal year 2027 budget today, along with a called meeting.
The public hearing and meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the County Administration Building on Helen Highway. In addition to a presentation of the proposed budget, commissioners will accept public comments. During the called meeting, commissioners will address four land-use issues and consider several board appointments.
Commissioners will hold another called meeting on June 15 to consider adoption of the county’s new budget. That meeting will be held at 9 a.m. in the County Administration Building.
