CLEVELAND, Ga. — Cleveland officials have lifted a boil water advisory issued earlier this week after a six-inch line break near 203 Green Street.
Water customers in the following areas may now resume normal water use:
- Green Street
- Cox Creek Drive
- Quillian Street
- Boulevard Street
- Mountain Overlook Drive
- Lunsford Lane
- Shilo Drive
- Townview Drive
- Bobwhite Circle
- Pinecrest
- Pinecrest Circle

The advisory was issued as a precaution and came just days after a separate advisory was issued following a leak in water lines in the West Kytle Road area.
Cleveland City Manager Kevin Harris told Now Georgia, “We are working with our engineer to finalize a long-term strategic plan, and both of these issues where the particular break occurred are already included in that plan. I expect to receive a preliminary report in the next month (by the end of June).”
He thanked residents for their patience as crews work to restore service and ensure water safety.
