The City of Clarkesville will unveil the final design for the rebuilding of the east side of the Clarkesville Square tomorrow, Tuesday April 5th during a Groundbreaking Ceremony at the site. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

It’s been more than two years since fire swept through the square and gutted four historic downtown buildings. In an emailed press release announcing Tuesday’s ceremony Clarkesville Main Street Director Mary Beth Horton says, “We have ALL waited a long time for this and are so excited to have our community together to commemorate this moment!”
